Developmental Skill Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination: The ability to use the eyes, hands and feet together to accomplish a given task. Affects the ability to transfer skills in one area to another area.
Indications of Developmental Lags Does not understand jokes, story plots, etc.; does not learn from experiences.
Indication of Classroom Developmental Lags "Ping-pong" grades from subject to subject or grading period to grading period; difficulty going from the specific to the general; cannot transfer from subject area to subject area; difficulty with story problems.
Activities for Developmental Growth Riding a tricycle or bicycle; basketball; pedal vehicles; jumping rope you throw yourself.
