Children with developmental delays: Tracking

Developmental Skill	Tracking: The ability to perform tasks involving objects and people against a vertical or horizontal plane outside of one's own space, such as copying from a chalkboard.
Indications of Developmental Lags	Has difficulty finding things pointed out to him/her that are outside his/her space; dislikes ball activities.
Indication of Classroom Developmental Lags	Makes mistakes when copying from board or chart to desk.
Activities for Developmental Growth	Batting a balloon and keeping it in the air; tether ball; playing catch; tennis; badminton; racquetball; basketball.
